Author Spotlight: Trish Marie Dawson


I’d like to take a few minutes to spotlight another author; this one happens to be my favorite currently and as 2 of her books can be grabbed for FREE on amazon right now, it seemed like a good time.

Trish Marie Dawson is an amazing writer and her stories tend to fall into more than one genre. Many of the genre labels attached to her works are labels I wouldn’t bother with in the past. Reading her books has taught me to ignore the genre label & keep an open mind.

Happy Monday!

It’s my first time online and that’s because I had to do school with the new Kindergartener and 6th Grader. All done for the day, so now it’s time to settle them down for a bit of quiet time and get Riley to cooperate for a bit. I hope YOUR Monday is treating you well. Fiona: Tell us your latest news?
My ninth self-published work will be released on August 15th, so that’s pretty exciting.

Fiona: When and why did you begin writing?
I began writing my first book in December of 2011 after my daughter asked me what I’d always wanted to be when I grew up. When my reply was ‘a writer’, she told me to write a book! Her reasoning was, I’d spent her entire life telling her she could do whatever she wanted, so I should follow my own advice. She’s a pretty smart kid.
