That’s all I have ever wanted in my life. Peace of mind. I grew up as an abused child, left home at 16 and was fortunate enough to travel the world as a Nanny. That’s how I ended up in America. My life was carefree and happy during my single days. I always had a free spirit unil I was married. I didn’t realise it at the time but when I was 23 I fell in love with an extremely dark negative person, although I would not see that side of him for fifteen years and then the dynamics changed. Was once again abused but this time instead of it being physical, it was verbal. The last ten years he has done some unforgivable things to me. He divorced me but just as well because I’m loyal to a fault and would have stayed with him forever despite the way I was treated. I’m still fighting him in court and living under the same roof as him. I am threatened daily but as he was always the bread winner of the family, I have no money, no car, nothing. I can’t even afford an attorney to represent me in Court but I’m getting stronger again, able to stand up for myself and will stand my ground in Court even though I am representing myself while he has the aid of an attorney. All I really want is what’s rightfully mine and Peace of Mind. I don’t need a lot to make me happy. I love these words and will forever live by them. Without peace of mind I will always live in fear and be in a jumbled mess so these three words are very important to how I live my life. 🙂 x

That’s a lot to live through, not easy, but you’ve survived. Thank you for sharing your story. I sure hope things work out quickly for you, and that you are able to move on and find someone who appreciates you for who you are. Many hugs and positive thoughts your way, that you find that peace!! ❤
