MADNESS is Coming…

They called him the Night Bleeder…and his hunger is stronger than ever.

Detective Capalbo’s most disturbing Cold Case is about to heat up. He’s lost his guy once before. He can’t afford to lose him again.

Aside from the excited drumming of his heart against his ribs, the only thing he heard was the rushed clicking of a woman’s heels on the damp asphalt. The sharp sound of her stilettos echoed off the hollow alleyway and he allowed half of his mouth to turn up in a grin.

Women could be so damn stupid.

Following the sharp lines of the brick building, he tailed her silently, being careful to stay tucked behind the shadows of the moonless night. Even if she happened to look over her shoulder, the young woman wouldn’t see him. He’d perfected this part of the hunt – the stalking. Others like him had said over the years that hunting their prey was just as satisfying, if not more so, than the actual killing. Not him. The hunt was simply the beginning.

When she picked up her pace, he almost laughed out loud. They always did that. He knew she could feel him behind her, though he hadn’t made himself known yet. Women’s intuition, they called it. And yet here she was, ignorantly and brazenly wandering down an empty alley in the dead of night, scantily clad in club attire. Her long hair left down for easy grabbing. Shoes so high she couldn’t run in them even if the Devil Himself was chasing her. And she was totally, perfectly, alone.

She was his before he even touched her.

Meet Zoey, the Dog

So, Zoey’s not your ordinary post-apocalyptic dog. She doesn’t chase down zombies or tear off the arms of gun-toting bad guys, but she’ll always be Riley’s #1 companion. The love dogs have for their people is unconditional, right?

Zoey kept her tail tucked between her legs and her head low, as if something would attack us at any moment. The longer she continued like that, the more I felt we weren’t alone; I couldn’t shake the feeling that we were being watched.

Find out all about Zoey and her person in ‘I Hope You Find Me’, the first book in the Find Me series, free for your Kindle, Nook and Apple devices. Happy Reading!

If you haven’t read this series yet – I wanted to remind you that the first book is FREE via all authorized distributors. I’ll drop links at the bottom of this, if you want to check them out. But first, what’s this story about, anyway?

beautiful blonde in a hat. hipster style

The Station books are part of a YA/NA Fantasy series that follow teenage anti-heroine, Piper Willow, after she dies and wakes up in the afterlife at a place called the Station, and is offered redemption – in the form of a job.

For some, the day you die is only the beginning.

After Piper dies, she gets two choices: enter her own personal hell, or go back to Earth and become the voice of conscience inside a boy’s head. Can she save Sloan from meeting the same fate? A tale of hope that will warm your heart.

Now, for the cool thing I promised earlier…it’s really cool. The kind of cool that makes you so happy you cry. Well, maybe YOU won’t cry, but I did. See, a few years ago a teen reader reached out to me via email. She had picked up Dying to Forget after losing her best friend, Jace, to suicide. I never forgot about her, nor Jace, and she has reached out several times over the last few years for updates or to say hello. She was pretty awesome then, but even more so awesome now. Growing up to be a beautiful young woman, she recently sent me a message with a picture of her new tattoo. As far as I know, I believe this is the first Station inspired ink. Yes, I died. I told you this was cool news. 😀

It wasn’t for love, was it?

With our brows touching, and his voice just above a whisper, the air from his mouth hits mine when he speaks. “We’ve been on the precipice of almost lovers since we met. You and me, we’re just lost in an impossible, endless dream. There was a reason we met, but it wasn’t for love, was it? I understand that now.
